Inishmurray Island Trips

We offer half or full day excursions to Inishmurray Island, 7km off the Sligo coastline. Our trips which depart from Mullaghmore in County Sligo or Killybegs in County Donegal, allow visitors to experience the wonderfull beauty and isolation of the now abandoned island.
Inishmurray was last inhabited in 1948 and the remnants of its past are still very much in existence. Explore the abandoned houses, the village school, or the fabulously preserved 6th century monastery with its two churches, beehive huts and 10ft thick walls.
Our Inishmurray trips are perfect for small groups and give the opportunity to picnic on the island, swim in the natural harbour or fish off its rugged coastline.
